2. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BUSINESS

I will check in with you about your priorities for your website maintenance each month via email and ensure your website stays up to date.

You will be responsible for sending me any content you would like updated on the site.

Having dedicated Website Maintenance for your WordPress site is essential for long-term success. With such a diversely capable Content Management System; tech issues can come up, so it is important to have expert help to address them promptly. Whether you’re aiming to enhance your SEO, design, customisation, keep content fresh, manage an online shop or to optimise site performance, I can help.

Squarespace Website Maintenance
To maximise your SEO, design, and customisation, it’s important to maximise on your active Squarespace hosting subscription by regularly updating your content and effectively troubleshoot any technical issues. Whether you’re looking to expand your shop or maintain its functionality, ongoing Website Maintenance support for your Squarespace site can prove invaluable.

WILL YOU HELP ME PREPARE MY CONTENT?

Whilst Content Creation is not part of this particular service it is part of my Website Design Experience and I do offer VIP Days where we collaborate to create the most captivating content together.

You will be responsible for providing and sending me proof-read, final content for Website Maintenance.

For images, I recommend some stock libraries and it’s really helpful if you get a photoshoot done and I can recommend you to a wonderful brand photographer for this.

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT & DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Other currencies are accepted.
The investment for a Website Maintenance subscription is between is £75 – £130 a month depending on your requirements. Simply decide how much time towards content alterations and additions you would generally like and I can help make recommendations for you too. If you need extra some months this can be arranged.

There is a *6 months minimum subscription and this upfront payment is required to book in.

I do not offer payment plans for this service.

WHAT IF I WANT EXTRA HOURS?

If you have additional requests after the current month’s work allotment is completed, I will do my best to accommodate them if I have the availability.

For this “overtime” this will be billed for separately.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN A WEBSITE MAINTENANCE SUBSCRIPTION?

On top of the Website Maintenance subscription, you will be responsible for purchasing / paying for:

 

  • Website hosting
  • Custom domain and / or email hosting
  • Additional copywriting / branding / photography needed for the site
  • Stock image licenses (if using paid stock)
  • Plugin licensing (if requiring specific plugins)

Terms and Conditions for Upfront 6-Month Website Maintenance Package

Service Description

Specific services included in each Website Maintenance package:

Profesional Package:

• Daily backups to the cloud

• Troubleshooting technical issues

Expert Package:
• Priority support
• Updates to WordPress, your theme and plugins
• 60 minutes of website content alterations and additions
• Daily backups to the cloud
• SSL certificate
• Basic SEO
• Hosting support
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Website development / design / creative

Visionary Package:
• Priority support
• Updates to WordPress, your theme and plugins
• 90 minutes of website content alterations and additions
• Daily backups to the cloud
• SSL certificate
• Basic SEO
• Hosting support
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Website development / design / creative
• A dedicated upkeep of your online shop, to keep your business working for you

Duration and Payment
• The package is valid for six months within the specific dates listed on your invoice.
• Payment terms: Full payment due upfront to book.
• If you delay/reschedule this service this payment schedule is still due as originally set and you are liable for the full fee of this invoice by due date.
• Non-Payment: Failure to make the payment by the due date may result in the suspension of services and potential additional fees or legal action as necessary to recover the owed amount.

Client Responsibilities
• Provide access to necessary accounts.
• Timely and clear communication.
• Clearly state in the title of email the urgency level of the request: E.G. Non Urgent, Urgent.

Service Limitations
• Depending on your chosen package 30-90 minutes of website content alterations and additions will be included.
• Exclusions: Major redesigns, project specific extras: paid plugins, printing or stock photography as they are the client’s responsibility.

Extra Hours
• If you have additional requests after the current month’s work allotment is completed, I will do my best to accommodate them if I have the availability.
• For this “overtime” this will be billed for separately at my current hourly rate.
• If you are regularly going over your monthly allotment I will suggest changing to a larger package.

Response Time
• Support requests will be addressed within 24-48 hours during regular business hours.
• Holidays and other client Project Periods: Please note that during public holidays and periods of scheduled closure, response times may be extended. Clients will be informed in advance of any holidays and other client Project Periods during which support services may be delayed.

Support Hours
Monday – Friday 9-5pm UK Time Zone

Communication Channels
Support requests can be submitted via email; however, in certain cases, I may require you to use Atarim, our live online feedback system.

End of Subscription
Before the end of your current subscription I will email to ask if you would like to sign up for another 6 months, at this point you can change the package you are on.

Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel the service by providing written notice via email; 50% of your payment remains non refundable and the rest will be refunded on a prorated proportion of the service used to date.

Liability
Brailla May is not liable for any issues arising from third-party services (including domain/hosting) or unforeseeable circumstances.

Intellectual Property Rights
Title to goods and copyright is retained by Brailla May until full payment of invoice and any Project specific extras (e.g. paid plugins, printing or stock photography as they are the client’s responsibility).

Confidentiality
Any shared data including passwords will remain confidential, to protect sensitive information during the maintenance period. Brailla May reserves the right to share data with team members/ technical support for the sole purpose of performing the Website Maintenance only.

Governing Law
The governing law and jurisdiction of England and Wales will govern the agreement. 

Amendments
Changes to these T&Cs will be made live on Brailla May Design’s Website.
